Cretan Wine Gallery: Cretan Wines Meet the Public at the Loggia 12 & 13 September 2026 | 18:00–22:30 | Loggia, Heraklion

Wines of Crete is organizing the Cretan Wine Gallery, a special wine event dedicated to the richness and diversity of the Cretan vineyard, taking place on 12 and 13 September 2026 at the Loggia in Heraklion, from 18:00 to 22:30.

For two days, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the Cretan vineyard through a unique Self Pour Fair experience, tasting wines from 31 wineries across Crete and more than 100 Cretan wine labels.

The event is an open invitation to wine lovers, industry professionals, visitors, and everyone interested in discovering the contemporary identity of Cretan wine.

Visitors will enjoy a complete and engaging wine experience with the support of professional sommeliers, who will be present throughout the event. The sommeliers will guide guests through the tastings, providing information and useful recommendations on the grape varieties, characteristics, and different styles of Cretan wines, helping each visitor discover the labels that best match their personal preferences.

Crete has a long and distinctive winemaking tradition, which has evolved dynamically in recent years, combining its indigenous grape varieties and heritage with modern winemaking techniques. The Cretan Wine Gallery aims to highlight this journey and showcase the contemporary identity of Cretan wine to the public.
