Monday 3rd of November, Ierapetra, Lasithi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Winemakers of Heraklion, in cooperation with the \u201cEducational house of Ierapetra, organized a seminar with blind wine tasting. In this seminar the main theme was the Cretan indigenous varieties.<\/p>\n<p>The participants were wine professionals, businessmen, restaurants employees and cava owners from the Prefecture of Lasithi. The special characteristics of the Cretan Vineyard and the evolution until nowadays were the most emphasized at the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>This action is due the \u201cLEADER\u201d program with the title \u201cSupporting the Cretan Vineyard\u201d. Until the end of the year we plan to organize wine tasting seminars. In case you want to participate you can register at our Newsletter by sending an e-mail at info@winesofcrete.gr<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wine tasting for the &#8220;Essen und Trinken&#8221; magazine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the15th of November, Wines of Crete organized a wine tasting for the German gastronomy magazine &#8220;Essen &amp; Trinken&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.essen-und-trinken.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.essen-und-trinken.de<\/a>) with the journalist Mr. Kay-Henner Menge, which took place at the Douloufakis Winery. In this wine tasting many cretan wineries with great cretan wines participated so that the journalist will have a general idea what the cretan wine is.
