Prinos Rosé - Protected Geographical Indication

The choice of the two grape varieties, Syrah and Mandilari aims to creating a wine with potential and richness for immediate consumption. The lightly intense red color, reminiscent of pomegranate seeds.Thwe pleasant aroma reminds mature red fruits (cherry). Fresh and balanced taste with delicate tannins, pleasant acidity and long lasting aftertaste.

Vinyard - Microclimate

From our private vineyards of the Asites region in the foothills of Psiloritis, 20km southwest of Heraklion, Crete, we use the raw materials to produce this particular wine.

Vinification method

Separate vinification for each grape variety, alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16oC. A three months maturation of the wine on its fine lees is occurred before bottling.

It is best consumed at a temperature of 10-12oC. Τhe perfect accompaniment with local Cretan cuisine such as snails, Sfakiani pie, kaltsounia, salads and pasta with light tomato sauce.
